Project Scope

The acquisition of property, construction, renovation, installation, and equipping of a Carmel Fire Department administrative building and fire museum and improvements, all to be used for the purposes of providing firefighting services such as fire prevention, investigation, fire suppression, rescue services and public education by the Township.

  • demolition of existing buildings
  • design, construction and equipping of a 5-story building to support new administrative offices for the Carmel Fire Department, Survive Alive and shell space for future use
  • addition and connection to existing Carmel Fire Buffs and Fire Department Museum
  • expanded museum storage and bus drop-off area

Project Timeline

Construction to begin: Fall 2020
Project completion: Summer 2022
